The congregation of Community Church understands our Christian beliefs to be more than intellectual in nature. These beliefs point people to Biblical truths that make possible their relationship with God.

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, reveled as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary and is fully God and fully human.

We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven where He makes intercession for us with God.

We believe in the Person of the Holy Spirit who is always present with believers and active in the work of convicting the world of sin.

We believe in divine inspiration of the Bible. This includes the 66 Books of the Old & New Testaments, both holy and without error and containing all things necessary for salvation.

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and in action. We need both God's gracious forgiveness and cleansing.

We believe that God has made forgiveness of sins possible for all humankind. However, God will not force Himself on anyone.

We believe that all who confess their sins, then repent and turn away from their sinning, receive God's free gift of eternal life...that is, God graciously forgives and forgets every sin that is brought to Him with a sincere heart.

We believe that along with the forgiveness of sins, we need the fullness of God's Holy Spirit in our lives. As we surrender our entire selves to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, He then makes us complete in His perfect love.

We believe in the holy sacrament of Baptism and encourage all Christians to be baptized.

We believe in the sacrament of "The Lord's Supper" (Holy Communion) as a declaration of Christ's sacrificial death for sin. Anyone who has trusted Christ for his/her salvation is welcome to celebrate communion with us.

We believe in God's divine healing of spiritual, emotional and physical needs. We urge all people to pray for healing and to also seek God's healing through medical science.

We believe that Jesus Christ will return again and that everyone will face the final judgment of God with its rewards and punishment.
